The SunSet system allows tracking of single KSHV episomes in real-time and combines expression cassettes for all necessary componets (dCas9-GCN4, scFv-sfGFP, 3xsgRNA) peptide array in a single , piggyBac-derived integration vector (SunTag Single Vector Targeting System). By inserting custom sgRNAs into the backbone, SunSeT can readily adapted to investigate other viruses or host factors involved in episome regulation.
